members attended and were split into three teams, covering 3 zones.
Trigger
objects were set and 2 beam alarms were placed against the emergency exit in the
function room.
Sadly
none of the trigger objects moved although the beam alarms placed near the
emergency exit do go off whilst the whole of team 3 are near the bar end of the
function room. Table tipping and turning took place in the function room with
great success, and many photos were taken. Orbs were caught on video footage as
well as some other strange light anomalies.
The
whole T.S.L team felt they had a great evening at this venue and they all worked
well, and a return to this location is imminent.
Here
is a brief report of each teams findings and experiences…
PARANORMAL
INVESTIGATION REPORT 1st MARCH 2008
All
four members were drawn to this bedroom first and as they entered the room both
Paul & Dave felt a bit uneasy. Paul
saw a elderly gentleman near the door and wanted to say ‘Old Geezer!’ with
Dave bringing the name of Stan in with this gentleman. Dave went on to say that
this gentleman explained that he was a lodger there ,at this point he reported
his head was hurting. Paul at this point noticed another gentleman standing
behind them in the opposite corner saying his name was Henry and giving the date
of 1868 and with this gentleman came sorrow. Both Dave and Paul then witnessed a
flash of light between the door and where Wendy was sat.
Dave
was getting the words of ‘Get Out, Get Out!’ as in a manner of being pushed
out of the room. All the members felt that the room went icy cold, although the
temperature was read and it registered fairly warm. Dave’s head pain had
worsened. Whilst Paul was stood near the door he wanted to laugh in a dirty
laughing manner with a touch of menace within it. Whispering sounds were heard
and Paul was saying that his face felt like he had had a stroke.
As
this happens Paul says that someone is showing him a broken brown glass bottle,
he feels it is connected to Henry Wither ham’ man’. The name of Charles
Blanford was also pickup on. Both Paul and Dave stood in front of the door, they
sensed and felt the strange energy around them, with both of them being pulled
against the wall, as if 2 hands came out of the wall and grabbed them by the
arms and described by them, as being ‘Yanked’ back against the wall.
Many
mysterious and scary photos were taken in this room and the team felt as if
there stay had been ‘out lived’ with no joke intended.
One
weird thing was that both Dave and Paul swear that they placed Dave’s camera
pointing on the landing towards a mirror in a wooden frame, but when they came
out the room the mirror had gone, with no other team being up there. The same
mirror was later be seen in the Barn!!!!!! Weird or What.
Team
2’s findings
This
team started off in the function room and Rebecca picked up on a man working
behind the bar with the name of Gary, but felt he was still here on the earth
plain . The team moved closer to the bar area the temperature is said to have
dropped quite considerably, and at this point Rebecca felt as if Gary was moving
around and in between them.
Dean
sensed a man sitting to the right hand side of the room looking away from the
bar, and about half way down, and gave the name of Frank Dawson; sadly there was
no description of this man. At this point Linda’s says that her legs went very
cold and she had goose bumps on them
As
the team moved around the middle floor, Linda saw a figure of a lady in the
toilet doorway at the same time as Dean reports that he is picking up the energy
of a lady with a wealthy status, around the period of about 1900 mark. Rebecca
also states at this point says that she too is picking up on a lady, but unsure
if she is connected to the Packe Horse. The team tried table tipping/turning.
Whilst doing this experiment, Rebecca felt as if her hair was being touched and
that a cold breeze passed across the top of her hands, a pain in her back and
then her nose being touched. Other team members also felt this breeze across
there hands at this point. At this point the team decided to put a glass on the
table.
As
the glass experiment was carried out, the name of Sue Barnes came through and
the date of 1806.
Dean
picked up on the name of George and both Rebecca and Sarah said the same a
little later, with also the name of Seymour as a surname. The date of 1926 also
came with this man. Then the message came as ‘Get Lost!’ At this point Dean
started to get a feeling of coldness and a not very nice feeling, Linda’s left
leg went extremely icy cold, and when Rebecca told George he couldn’t hurt us,
Dean got the message, ‘Yes I Can!’ Kaz, Sam and Rebecca then heard tapping
on their table at least 3 times. Things then went quiet.
Team
3’s findings
In
the stable area the group felt very icy cold, colder than it was on the night
itself.

WAS HE ON HIS WAY TO THE CELLAR? ‘
Sharon
and Lynda returned also and saw a white light in the far left hand corner of the
room, and heard tapping, WAS THIS WILLIAM!. They also report seeing a shadow of
a man in the stable.
COMPARISONS
OF VIGIL AT OLDE PACKE HORSE INN

Dean picked up on a man sitting halfway down the function room on the
right hand side, as did Paul Wr’ and Dave from team 1.

Rebecca picked up on a group of ladies in the function room as did Paul
Wr’, with her saying about them wearing dresses with hoops in like Dave had
said earlier.

Dean got the name of George in the function room as did Paul Wr’,
Rebecca, Sarah and Dean.

Rebecca reports her chair being moved as she sat on it in the function
room, the same as what happened to Dave in there.

Dean felt compelled to pace up and down in a confusing manner in the
function room, as when team 1 was in there Paul Wr’ actually did this with the
state of confusion.

Dean had something threw at him in the cellar (a small penny), as did
Paul Wi’ did, but they could only say it was something small and metal, Paul
Wi’ also had a cork thrown at him whilst in the cellar.

Sara picked up the energy of a boy in the cellar with the name of Charlie
Simmons. Dave also got the name of Simon/Simons of a small boy in the stable.

Rebecca and Dean both sensed a old man in the cellar, whereas Paul Wr’
saw him and said he was a old landlord and his name was Harold but better known
as Harry and 1925 given as a date. Lynda and Sharon also saw a shadowy figure
towards the rear of the cellar.

Both team 1 and team 2 members were touched whilst in the cellar.

Many team members picked up on a little boy in the stable.

Lynda and Sharon saw a shadowy figure on the landing on the top floor,
whereas Paul and Dave heard the footsteps, as there door was closed whilst they
were in the front room, and Lyn reports seeing it also a while later.

A cold spot was felt members of team 2 in the back bedroom on the top
floor, whereas Paul Wr’ saw a little girl kneeling there crying. With Lyn and
Sharon both reporting, separately, the feeling of a little girl in that room
too.

After being in this room several team members reported having lower back
pain.

The smell of burning matches or similar was smelt besides the big mirror
in the function room by team 1, team 2 &
from team 3.

All team 3 members felt a cold spot about ten feet in front of the bar in
the function room, whereas team 2 members did.

Members from team 1 & 3 witnessed a dark shadowy figure appear and
walk down the centre isle in the function room, and then turn and go back
towards the bar repeating this a few times.

Whilst sat at the bottom of the function room in front of the mirror,
performing table tipping both teams 1 and 3, experience cold breezes and blowing
on the hands.
