VIGIL
REPORT FOR
‘GRACEDIEU
PRIORY RUINS’
The team was made up of 10 members
and it was decided to split into 2 teams. These were the teams for this vigil.

Team 1…. David
Vickers (spiritual medium) Helen
, Ali, Lyn
Team 2…. Paul
Wright (spiritual medium) Wendy,
Linda, Dean , Paul, Ian
With the priory being spread out as
much as it is, it was decided that the old chapel was to be used as base. After
a short briefing the teams decided to go to their locations and start the vigil.
Here is a brief account of both teams and there findings:
Team 1……..
The team felt a lot of strange
feelings in the chapel. 3 members of the team felt and saw a strange figure
standing at the end of what seemed to be a corridor leading off the old chapel,
these members were Ali, Dave and Lyn. Photos were taken but no evidence caught.
Ali thought that she saw a big black dog like creature walking along the
perimeter fence, near to the train tunnel side of the ruins.
As the team walked to the train
tunnel, Helen reported that she saw dark shadowy figures moving in front of the
tunnel entrance , as she entered the tunnel she felt drawn to go halfway down
and stop. She did this and found herself feeling very ‘dizzy’ and having a
headache. Orbs were caught on camera.
Team 2………
This team experienced many different
and comparative feelings during the vigil. No activity was felt or caught on
camera around the old chimney that stands alone, but this changed as they
crossed the stream into the adjoining field.
Whilst in the field Wendy and Paul
Wright went towards the centre of the field, Paul Wright felt drawn there. As he
stood he sensed the spirit of a little girl curled up into a ball crying, as if
she had been hurt in away that showed no physical marks. At this point both Paul
Wright and Wendy heard what seemed to be a stone being thrown, narrowing missing
Wendy and hitting the ground, they looked briefly through the long grass but no
stone was found. When this happened Paul Wright witnessed a shadowy apparition
running from the trees on the right across to the stream, which was to the left
of them
Shortly after Paul Wright sensed 2
energies, what seemed to be nuns, looking directly at them from the trees next
to the stream, although not saying anything Paul Wright got the sense of they
were just intrigued to know as to why we were there.
Dean said that since going into the
field he felt that he had feelings of sickness and a head ache, as he walked
towards the statue in the field, he felt the need to take a photo, upon viewing
there was an ‘orb’. He also felt as if someone was watching him from the
trees.
The group decided to have a short
time in the woods as reports of paranormal phenomena have been documented.
COMPARISONS
1… Sadly the only 1 physical
comparison we have is the hearing of the little girl crying in the woods by
several team members.
2… Dean and Paul Wright felt as if
a strong broad man in the train tunnel, on the left hand side, was pushing them
back.
3… Dean along with Paul Wright
sensed the feeling of being watched from the woods by some one, Paul Wight said
that he saw 2 nuns watching them.

A TEAM MEMBERS DREAM AFTER THE VIGIL******************
Paul says that after the vigil when he went to bed he was drifting off and in his dream he appeared back at the ruins in daylight. He was drawn down towards the canal and the road where he was shown a horrific sight of disabled children being what only can be described as tortured, beaten and left to starve. This went on for some time; there was also a nun in grey and then one in black present. After a while a little boy led Paul by the hand and along a passage way similar to that of a rabbit warren of houses. This then ended the dream.
*******
It is said that the site of the ruins
was built because back then, the villagers believed that this would rid the
ground of any evilness and hopefully they would live a better life with crop
growing etc.
As said before, this information is
not officially documented but is believed to be the word passed down by the
folklore that lived during that time.
