Great Central Railway Investigation
August 2nd 2008
Well folks what another rewarding visit to the Great Central. The lovely British weather was on our side and paranormal activity was witnessed. We arrived at the venue for11pm all raring to go with cameras etc at the ready. The team consisted of Dave Vickers, Medium and 12 team members, also attending was guest medium Darren Brittain. After a short briefing the team was divided in two with Dave heading one team and Darren the other. Below is a brief report of our findings…..
No delays at The Great Central Railway, as far as Paranormal activity goes. The team had a great night investigating the eerie platforms at Loughborough's famous Great Central. Attending was Medium Dave Vickers, 12 brave folks and guest medium Darren Brittain all eager to spend the night searching and waiting for paranormal activity and ghostly appearances to happen. The team were not disappointed as once again everyone experienced and witnessed some very unusual and unexplainable occurrences. Three team members saw the apparition of, as described, the old station master. Was this the same ghostly figure spotted on several other occasions by other investigators? Strange feelings of energy changes were felt by all attending as well as orbs, light anomalies, being captured on camera. Several members refused to enter certain rooms due to "an unseen" presence. Team members reported being prodded and poked by an unseen force. Sinister goings on were picked up on near the bottom of the stairs, as you go into the station, Darren described the situation of a struggle and a girls body being bundled into a mail sack. Many names were given throughout the investigation, Thomas Hardy and Thomas Cook were picked up on. After a bit of research Thomas Hardy appears to be the name of a train that ran from the railway, as for Thomas Cook, he made one of his first trips from the station. On the whole the T.S.L team had a very interesting if not spooky unusual evening at the Great Central Railway.
